I’m making one right now with pop-out/wireless charging plugs that were a bit expensive (~$110 together). Plus I had to buy a couple new tools (lost some in a recent move). But got the wood for about $35, so yay for that. Plus I used 2x8s, because I have kids that I don’t trust to not break it.

I would stain it before assembly especially if you were using in the sauna

I would suggest cutting the inside side pieces to fit the box instead of suspending it with the trim pieces. Just to be sure it's sturdy. It doesn't need attached and only on the piece at the bottom. The trim will hold it on place. That's just what I would do. Great project!!!! I may attempt this. At work, they hold raffles for our charity projects. We help the schools provide summer break lunches, help with the local foster agency etc etc This would be a great raffle item.

Great video but you should have a respirator or mask of some sort on when you're cutting the boards and don't have sufficient ventilation. Otherwise you can get some really nasty cancers later
